This past week has felt like it’s been the longest week ever! I’ve been feeling tired and sore from the gym, so on Friday and today I headed out on a long walk.
On Friday, I went to a local park where there is a lake to walk around with lots of wildlife and open space. It’s one of my favourite places to be honest, I’ve been coming here well before lockdown, but it was during that time that I fell in love with the park even more.
Then today, I felt like I needed some fresh air and some space to chill out. There’s a place called The Dream near where I live, it’s not as special as my local park, but it’s quiet and enjoyable. There are many paths to walk down where you don’t see many people and it was just what I needed today!
It’s amazing how nature and fresh air can help our health and mental health. After the past few days, I feel much better and now know that I’ll be able to tackle the rest of the week!
