I’ve written a few blog posts before about self-care and pampering yourself, this is because it’s important and makes everyone feel better no matter how they’re feeling.
Often we tend to put too much pressure and stress ourselves, we forget that we are human and we’re bound to have off days. There is a lot going on in the world and we all just deserve to forget about everything and pamper ourselves!
When we talk about pamper days people always think that they have to be expensive and over the top. That’s not that case, there are lots of things you can do or use without breaking the bank.
Essentially when you have a pamper day at home you want to focus on yourself and do things that will make you feel better about yourself.
What You Need For Your Pamper Day?
- Yourself.
- Candles (Preferably scented)
- Wine.
- Face and body products of your choice, like a face mask or sheet mask, toners, cleansers and moisturiser.
- Bubble bath or bath bombs.

Lighting candles can be very beneficial to you because they will give you an atmosphere to induce calm and a sense of well being. Scented candles also smell amazing, I personally love Yankee Candles, but the ones from M&S are so affordable and smell great.
You can light up a few candles in your bathroom while you take a bath and even in your bedroom or wherever you are choosing to have your pamper day.
Giving your skin all the care and love it needs is the absolute definition of pamper days. Think about your your skin needs right now, from exfoliation to extra hydration there’s a face mask or sheet mask for everything. I love the L’Oréal clay masks and the Simple sheet masks, they’re affordable and give my skin the pampering it deserves.
Bubble baths are a girl’s best friend and no pamper day is complete without a soak in the bath. This is my favourite part of pamper day because I get to think and give myself some alone time. If you have some bath salts and bath bombs you can definitely put them in the mix just so you can get the full experience.
A glass of wine won’t hurt. Wine is a staple to pamper day and I refuse to have a pamper day without it. You can drink whatever alcohol you prefer, but if you’re in the bath I suggest not drinking too much! Safety first people!
That ladies and gentlemen is how to have a pamper day at home! The perfect combination to give yourself some love and hopefully after it you’ll feel a whole lot better.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money and it is definitely effective as it allows you the time to take care of yourself.
Let me know what you think and how you have a pamper day at home in the comments!
Bath, candles and wine? You’re speaking my language! haha!

That photo looks so relaxing, great post – self-care and pampering definitely doesn’t need to be super extravagant so I love that you included those essentials:)

I’m in desperate need of a pamper day and was thinking about having one this weekend actually. I don’t drink wine so I’ll swap that for a Martini and I’m ready to go!
