So as far as skin care goes, I have tried a lot of different brands and products, from Clinique to Simple to Nivea. Sometimes I find it hard to stick to one particular product because of how my skin can vary throughout the year and what it reacts with.
For years I have issues with acne and eczema but a lot of the time I do manage to keep it under control. This is why I have tried so many products and brands, trying to find the perfect one is difficult.
I recently discovered The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Cream cleanser and Vitamin E Hydrating Toner. There are so many cleansers, make up removers and toners on the market, which is why I went with a cleanser and toner that is for all skin types.
I always preferred liquids like toners because it felt strange putting creams near my eyes for a long time, but after getting used to using a cream cleanser, I have been converted. I would spend ages scrubbing at my mascara a lot of the time yet, with this product, it doesn’t cost the earth and gives you beautiful and completely clean skin.
It is really kind on the eyes and doesn’t sting like some products can especially if you have sensitive skin. It also has a really clean and fresh scent. The product comes in a 200ml bottle and will probably last you around two months with or depending on daily use.
Vitamin E Cream Cleanser – This is a light, creamy cleanser with protective vitamin E and moisturising wheatgerm oil. It effectively removes impurities and make-up, leaving the skin feeling clean, softer and more supple. Use this before the Toner in order to clean off my make up.
- Suitable for all skin types
- With Community Trade soya oil from Brazil
- With vitamin E
- Facial cream cleanser
- Light, creamy texture
- Soap-free
Vitamin E Hydrating Toner – A refreshing, hydrating alcohol-free toner with protective vitamin E and moisturising wheatgerm oil. Once you’ve removed your makeup this will clear any remaining makeup and cleanse. It leaves skin feeling clean, supple and hydrated and helps to maximise absorption of follow on products.
- Suitable for all skin types
- With vitamin E
- With Community Trade soya oil from Brazil
- Facial toner
- Hydrating, refreshing feel
- Non-drying to the skin
I own a lot of products from The Body Shop, I love what they do the products are all amazing and these two have become my favourites.
Let me know in the comments whether you’ve tried the Vitamin E range or any of The Body Shop products!

I haven’t tried this range. I haven’t actually tried much from The Body Shop in recent years but I really do need to! I struggle with getting mascara off and hate scrubbing away at my eyes too!

I miss The Body Shop so much, I wish I had one close to me to visit and try things out. I used to love going into a store and smelling the bath stuff and check the make-up out! Their skincare stuff sounds good!

I haven’t tried this yet, but as someone with sensitive skin I think this would be ideal. Plus I live in the city that The Body Shop originated from! Thanks for sharing.

I haven’t tried these but by your article it sounds like something I would love to try. My skin is so dry no matter what I use. Oh, and I totally know about ha ing to scrub your face off to just remove your mascara!

I haven’t tried these products before. I’m glad they are helping with your acne and eczema though. That’s great!

I love that these are suitable for all skin types. Living with combination skin can make it SO challenging to buy skincare products – worrying about the dry areas of my face getting dried out further as well as the opposite end of the scale with the excess oils. I’m going to have to give this a try!
