How are you? No really. I’m asking how you are.
Because the last two months have been a whirlwind and I feel like I’ve fallen through the looking glass into a completely different world. Yes, just like Alice, although there’s no Cheshire cat just the four walls of my bedroom.
I decided to buy ‘The Positive Wellness Journal’ from The Positive Planner, to help focus my mind and de-stress as much as possible.
‘The Positive Wellness Journal’ is a beautiful 3 part journal dedicated to nourishing your mind, body and soul through creativity, movement and writing.
Journaling is a healthy addition to your routine and a form of self-care, I’ve finally realized how amazing it actually is and discovered its full potential.
The journal is full of ways to help nourish your mind, body and soul, this journal can help you find your way to a sense of wellbeing.
‘The Positive Wellness Journal’ combines weekly quotes, daily writing and activities such as breathing and art therapy to help you nourish your mind, body and soul.
The book encourages you to be positive and bring awareness to how you move through your day by setting intentions in the morning and then reflecting at night.
52 weeks of positivity & encouragement, but with no dates, there is no time no pressure to write, just simply pick up and put down when you need it.
You can start at any time and there is a whole year’s mood tracker to understand contributing factors to your energy.
Writing down what’s on your mind can help you to work through your feelings, I find it is a great way to get things off your chest.
By journaling you can help yourself understand feelings and make things feel more manageable – sometimes getting things out of your system by writing them down can lift the weight of your shoulders.
Using The Positive Wellness journal I found that it was a way to help navigate wellbeing in all areas and aspects of your being.
Self-care is a huge part of life at the moment and we are all becoming more aware of it! Achieving self care means getting those endorphins going – doing something that puts a smile on your face or you actively look forward to. ⠀
The book is broken down into these three sections:
● MIND ● BODY ● SOUL
The MIND, BODY, and SOUL sections within the book help you discover your healthy wellbeing. It is packed with inspiring tools to help the exploration of your wellbeing and promote daily positivity.
Journaling in general has been proven to improve not only mental and physical health, but it has increased self-esteem in some people as well.
Journaling can be very therapeutic; I find it is a great way to reflect on the things that happen to you. or a way to understand the world around you. If you keep an open mind when you first start journaling, the habit will come to you naturally!
Sometimes, you just need to take that time for yourself, so that you can think, reflect and analyse anything that is on your mind.
This journal looks really good & useful. I think its important to take time for ourselves and try and forget about some of the stresses going on in the world right now.

This journal is such a creative idea and looks like it’d be extremely beneficial, especially with so much uncertainty around. Great post!

Looks like a neat journal! The idea of art therapy is kind of cool. I used to journal as a teenager but have not at all in my adult life. I have started a gratitude journal since lockdown though, and I really enjoy that. And I’m big on goal setting, and keeping a log of my workouts, I guess I just don’t do it all in one place. Thanks for the review!

I’ve been looking at this, and the gratitude journal for a little while now and was wondering what people thought of it and how it really worked so I’m really glad I found this review. Definitely sounds like a good thing to do, especially now, to destress. Thanks for sharing.

Could kick my butt! I KNOW this but reading your blog made me realise how I really, really, really need to start journaling again right now. Enough with the online courses and ra-rah gang trying to get you fired up until you feel like a crazed cracker on Guy Fawkes’s night.
Time to journal. Go deep. We may never get this time back again!

This is a very lovely journal. I used to have one in 2017. I still keep it although I can’t write in it anymore. I just love the positive quotes and activities in it.

I have never brought these journals because of the price, but now I want this! I especially love the idea that it doesn’t have dates.
